Participation is very important. The support of donors—alumni/ae/x, faculty, friends, staff, families—shows larger funders: foundations, organizations, and individuals with the capability of making transformational gifts that they are supporting a cause its constituents support and value.

Participation at every level does matter. Whether it is a $10 gift or a $10,000 gift, all that Bard College does is only possible with support by a large base of dedicated donors committed to giving what they can.

Participating with the level of support you can makes a difference. We hope donors give as generously as possible according to their ability. As one of Bard’s most generous donors and a former trustee liked to say, “one person’s $10 is another’s $10 million,” depending on their financial situation.

Your gift matters! Donations come from Bard alumni/ae, parents, grandparents, friends, faculty, staff, and our very generous Board of Trustees. Bard College is made possible by many people coming together to support Bard’s greatest needs.
