Why should I give to the College?

Here are some reasons our donors have given:
  • My support allows Bard to grow and improve.
  • The more diversity of donors, the better for any institution.
  • I want to support an institution that changed my life.
  • I appreciate and care about other people having the same opportunity I had.
  • Bard and its students are addressing important issues.
  • I want to commemorate my time at Bard, or that of my relative, by putting my (our/their) name on a wall, room, or building.
  • The fact that it is a tax-deductible contribution to a place I believe in.
  • I am #bardianandproud.
  • A faculty member deeply inspired me.
  • My child has never been happier than at Bard.
  • Someone supported my access to a college education so I am returning the favor.
  • I want to honor the memory of someone important to me.
  • Someone I know is passionate about Bard and its mission.
  • It’s a way to stay involved, be a part of the evolution of Bard.
  • I want to help motivate large donors to give even more to Bard.
